STEM CON and Beyond

March 22, 2021

What happens when you do something for the second time? It’s usually better than the first time, right?

That’s exactly what is happening with STEM CON and Beyond 2021!

Last year we joined with a small group of dedicated STEM teachers and professionals to offer STEM CON 2020. This year we have again banded together to bring you four days of awesomeness on April 16th-19th.

Summary list of awesomeness:

  • 45+ sessions presented by a group of master educators, authors, and subject matter experts on a wide range of STEM topics
  • Private pop-up Facebook group where you can interact with presenters, get your questions answered and win daily raffles during the conference (over $20,000 in prizes!!)
  • Live panel discussions, special presentations, and interviews
  • Revisit all the conference content as often as you’d like for a full year
  • Bonus Bundle with 13 STEM resources worth $50 --- this conference pretty much pays for itself!
  • Opportunities to earn PD credits (see the site’s FAQ for details)

Elementary STEM CON last year was a huge success with teachers from 12 countries participating, which makes this year even more exciting. We’re going beyond what we started and adding in more STEAM, secondary, SPED content, and more.

Many of our fabulous presenters are returning with new sessions. We are so excited to once again welcome Dr. Christian Anderson from Morgan State University.

We have a whole host of new passionate educators and subject matter experts joining us.  Two sessions we are particularly excited about are:

Real World Science and Engineering.

and Diverse and Inclusive Reads

Another session we can’t wait for is the interview with award winning author and illustrator Melissa Sweet. We are sure you know her from her book, Balloons Over Broadway. She is joining us to discuss her newest nonfiction work: Unbound: The Life and Art of Judith Scott.

We could go on and on but your best bet to find out about what’s in store is to head to the site:

What They Say

Wendy came to Bellevue Arts Museum to co-lead our Full STEAM Ahead! Summer Camp in August 2014. This camp was a huge success thanks to her expertise, experience, and warmth working with the campers throughout the week…
